Web scraping is the process of scraping or extracting data from websites using programs or other tools. And in this video lesson, we will learn how to create a scrapy project with the scrapy command-line utility.

To create a scrapy project we have to simply navigate to the directory where our project should live. Then from the terminal, use the following command to create a scrapy project (you can replace the project_name with any name you'd want)-
~ scrapy startproject project_name
