In this lesson, we'll implement the ability to upload a photo file of the person record we're creating. Being able to upload files and interact with them afterwards is a fairly common scenario frequently seen with CRUD applications.
In this lesson, we'll just have our application serve up a simple static "Hello World" message in a browser.
This is the mini-course building a complete CRUD (create, read, update & delete) web application using Java, the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC & Spring Data JPA. It includes use of the H2 embedded database as well as the Bootstrap CSS framework with Thymeleaf html template pages. This mini-course will be around 12 hours in length split up across over 20 video lessons.
