Kate Middleton has defeated cancer
Kate Middleton has beaten cancer.
Last January, the Princess of Wales underwent abdominal surgery. But just as she recovered from one illness, a second, much more serious one emerged. She was diagnosed with cancer.
At the time, the public noticed that Kate had begun making fewer public appearances. In March, the Princess made an official statement, confirming rumors of her illness. She also stated that the most important thing for her now was to get well, for the sake of herself and her children. All official events were canceled.
In September, doctors reported that Kate had improved and was in remission. The Princess then completed chemotherapy and began appearing in public again.
Today, Kate announced that she is finally healthy. The Princess admitted that she is glad that this terrible disease did not leave her sons orphans, and that she is no longer afraid.
