(Boss name abbreviated for spoiler reasons will unabbreviate after a bit of time)

The best fight so far this monster of a boss is so good and reminds me of Fume Knight and Artorias.

Learning and doing this fight as no hit was so satisfying ESPECIALLY phase 2.

You want to get two stagger phases in phase 1 which is why I stopped attacking when he fell for the first time. To do this you want to minimize your damage at the start of the fight and when he staggers after the first fall you want to buff up and do as much damage as possible when he falls for the 2nd time.

Phase 2 is when the fun begins. Pop Ice Sword and Hasten. You want to watch his moves very closely as he does 4 distinct moves as long as you are in range.

If he does a deep crouch he will lunge his spear forward with a blood magic line AOE.

If he pulls his arm back he will do his melee combo that you can parry (very important that you parry this!). You can parry the first hit but I find dodging the first hit for Focus and parrying the 2nd hit is better.

If he charges forward and swings his spear over his left shoulder he will do his Blood Magic Melee Combo which is extremely dangerous since this leaves traces of blood magic after each swing which can easily hit you and ruin the no hit run.

He will clench his fist and charge up with a red aura. This will do a large radius aoe around him with blood magic falling around the perimeter afterwards.

After 35 seconds he will revert back to normal and this is your time to kill him or else you'll have to deal with his berserk phase and second time which isn't fun and is the prime reason we want him to fall twice in phase 1.

Prometheus Blood Code.
