Nomad Sculpt Tutorial: Chainmail Texture.
I dive much deeper into the use of UV Maps and Face Groups to create chainmail texture that is 3D printable and sculpt-able as well. The texture in this video is created using the Triplanar option in the Paint tool. Using this option creates even all over texture on the model with one click! I show the first step in making easy clothes for characters that will have the option to be textured with patterns. I give a several more tips to be successful with Face Groups that allow to place texture exactly how and where you want it placed including how to properly seam Face Groups for the best UV Map layout. I will also cover the 8 steps from the two previous videos. Join me and learn how to transform your sculpts with seamless patterns or textures.
