DIY valve countersinks
In this video, I demonstrated and explained how to cut piston recesses for the valves on a classic VAZ 2101-2107 car. This principle can be used to cut piston recesses for any engine.
For this project, you'll need two valves: intake and exhaust. I use a grinder to cut the cutting edges. Then, I cut a square on the valve stem to accommodate the ratchet hose. Next, I insert this attachment into the drill and begin working.
I did all this to compensate for the fact that I milled 2.4 mm off my cylinder head and modified the combustion chamber. I'll be adjusting the valve stem using a split gear, adjusting the overlap.
