What are Linking Verbs? - examples | English for Communication - ESL
Linking verbs join the subject and the predicate (stating something about the subject). Linking verbs do not show action (am, is, are, was, were, has, have, become, appear, seem, look, feel, sound, taste). Instead, they help the words at the end of the sentence name and describe the subject. There are three parts to this video: part one without words (no subtitles). Part two, with words (with subtitles) and part three, together with Mark Kulek. All the language in this video is listed below.
