In this video we use Pelt Mapping to unwrap the handle and the head, in a slight deviation from our usual unwrapping technique used on earlier tutorials. This method is better for curved or organic shapes.
Note: A little thing I picked up on after recording - when you import your final fbx to Substance Painter, or your game engine, you may get the blocky low poly version, rather than the smoothed version. This is because in the fbx exporter, you must UNCHECK turbosmooth in the geometry options. Sounds counter-intuitive, but trust me. These settings are persistent across sessions, which is why I didnt need to uncheck mine - apologies for that!
