How can I drive faster in iRacing?
Driving fast in iRacing is not the easiest thing, and to get to the top you need to practice a whole lot. There a multiple ways of finding pace, but one is carrying the speed. The faster you go into a corner, the faster your lap time will be, but that also means that you will be more on the limit of overshooting the corner, or losing the rear end.
How can you carry more speed and not unsettle the car too much? Trailbraking. Thats what it all comes down to. If you trail brake properly, it means that you slowly transfer the weight of the car from the front back to the rear after the braking zone, and therefore you can get more rotation and stability at the same time and that's where you will find the time!
The style of this video is similar to OC Racing and Jimmy Broadbent in parts. A large influence on this video has come from content creators like DaveCam and MuYe.
