Airbus Reveals Blended Wing Airplane 'MAVERIC‘ Cut Carbon Emissions
Airbus has unveiled a futuristic airplane design which it claims could cut carbon emissions by 20 per cent. code-named MAVERIC, it blends the wing
and the body to produce less aerodynamic drag while making for more spacious cabin interiors.

● 2. AIRBUS "ZEROe"
This next plane certainly does look and feel like a futuristic plane. Called the HerO Zero Emissions Airplane, developed by Joe Doucet, it has been dubbed the "Tesla of the Skies".
Apart from its interesting design, this plane is intended to be a zero-emission electric plane, hence the name. While currently only a concept plane, this could be kind of plane that all of us could be traveling on in the not too distant future.

● 3.AIRBUS "Bird of Prey"
While not intended to represent an actual aircraft, Airbus’ “Bird of Prey” is based on realistic ideas – providing an insight into what a future regional aircraft could look like. It includes a blended wing-to-fuselage joint that mirrors the graceful and aerodynamic arch of an eagle or falcon, representing the potential of biomimicry (the design and production of materials, structures and systems inspired by nature). ● 4. KLM "Flying V"
Yet another very futuristic airplane is the so-called "Flying-V". This concept plane has been developed by KLM, and, interestingly, its designers envisage sitting passengers in its wings.
Whether or not the design was inspired by Jetliners from Fallout 4 or not is anyone's guess, but this certainly is an innovative design concept. Much like Airbus' MAVERIC, this setup should significantly reduce fuel consumption over longer distances. This is because it will both reduce the overall weight of the craft as well as improve aerodynamics.
● 5. BOOM Supersonic "XB-1"
The Boom XB-1 "Baby Boom" is a one-third-scale trijet supersonic demonstrator designed by Boom Technology (dba "Boom Supersonic"[2]) as part of development of the Boom Overture supersonic transport airliner. It is planned to maintain Mach 2.2, with over 1,000 nmi (1,900 km) of range. Powered by three General Electric J85s, it is expected to be flight tested in 2021.

The Samad Aerospace Starling Jet is a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) hybrid-electric jet that will carry passengers on regional and short-haul flights.

The Eviation Alice is a projected electric aircraft designed to accommodate nine passengers and two crew. Currently under development, it is of 95% composite material construction, is powered by three electric motors in pusher configuration and has a V-tail.

● 9. AWWA·QG "Progress Eagle"
The "Progress Eagle" certainly does appear to be a plane from the future. Designed by Oscar Viñals, this, he believes, will be the future of jetliners.
Its design is very unique, and, according to Viñals, has seating capacity for 800 passengers over three decks. The plane is also eco-friendly by being powered by six hydrogen fuel engines, as well as sporting rear electric wind generators and integrated solar panels.
