Hi guitarists, I'm Alessandro Bianchi, welcome to ShapeYourTone! 🔥
In today's video we go back to talking about my favorite guitar, the Les Paul!
To do this I'm going to use a Les Paul style guitar model that my friends at @HarleyBentonOfficial sent me, namely the SC450 Plus Vintage Series. Basically a cheap Les Paul, the price is just under €200.
The guitar is this:

In the video I looked for the elements that lead the instrument towards the vintage direction, I looked for those features that bring the instrument back in time in a faithful and respectful way of the traditional model and I found quite a few!
So on paper yes, it's a vintage style Les Paul and it works well, but in practice?

In practice, this Harley Benton SC450 Plus has many little gems that push the guitar towards the modern, but not in an absolute sense. These are little things that "improve" the basic design of the instrument to make it more versatile, comfortable and stable.
We are talking about single coil splittable alnico 5 pickups (therefore beautiful and powerful), rounded neck attachment, double action truss rod for an effective setup and many other little things that you discover in the video.

Of course being a Harley Benton I ran it under a microscope looking for blemishes, flaws, problems or anything that could be a sign of poor care, but I have to say I found none and then when I plugged it in to record sounds with my HX Stomp just roared. She defended herself great and for the price she rocks!
