1.) IP ADDRESS :-

An IP Adress (Internet Protocol Address) is a unique address that identifies a device on the Internet or a local network. It allows a system to be recognized by other systems connected via the Internet protocol.
The IP address is a fascinating product of modern computer technology designed to allow one connected computer (or "smart" device) to communicate with another device over the Internet.IP addresses allow the location of literally billions of digital devices that are connected to the Internet to be pinpointed and differentiated from other devices.
Because, in the same way you to need a mailing address to recieve a letter in the mail from a friend, a remote computer needs your IP address to communicate with your computer.
There are four different types of IP addresses: public, private, static and dynamic. While the public and private are indicative of the location of the network, private being used inside a network while the public is used outside of a network, static and dynamic indicate permanency.

2.) Subnet mask :-

A Subnet mask is a 32-bit number that masks an IP address, and divides the IP address into network address and host address. Subnet Mask is made by setting network bits to all "1"s and setting host bits to all "0"s. Within a given network, two host addresses are reserved for special purpose, and cannot be assigned to hosts. The "0" address is assigned a network address and "255" is assigned to a broadcast address, and they cannot be assigned to hosts.

It allows devices within one network to send information to devices within another network. If you are requesting a certain web page, the traffic is first sent to your default gateway before leaving the local network to reach its intended destination.
The gateway can really be any unique address within the subnet itself, but most network administrators designate the first number of the subnet as the gateway. Therefore, 192.168.43.1 would be the default gateway of our source device given the fact that we have a 255.255.255.0 subnet mask.

4.) DNS server :-

DNS (Domain Name Servers) are the Internet's equivalent of a phone book. They maintain a directory of domain names and translate them to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.This is necessary because,although domain names are easy for people to remember, computers or machines, access websites based on IP addresses , And also it is a translator i.e.it convert the domain name to IP address and ip address to domain name.
