Logitech G29 Clicking Noise During Turn
Brand new out of the box, my Logitech G29 steering wheel produces clicking noises when turned, like something inside ain't quite right.
The noises persist when powered up, especially noticeable during the initial 900-degree calibration spin, where it just sounds awful and cheap.
In comparison my G27, which has been running strong for the past 6 years, has never made noises like this.
I fear these noises may be indicative of internal gearing problems and possible future issues.
UPDATE (May 5, 2016): Logitech approved my warranty request and delivered a replacement upon photographic proof of disabling the product (ie: cutting the cables). The replacement does not suffer the issue described above - kudos Logitech support team!
