What is the MLS? 🤔 If you’ve ever talked to a realtor, you’ve probably heard the term “MLS.” But what does it actually mean, and why is it so important for buying or selling a home? In this video, I explain exactly what the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is and how it serves as a powerful tool in the real estate market.
When your home is listed on the MLS, it’s instantly exposed to thousands of agents and potential buyers, maximizing its visibility. From showing all available homes for sale in a specific area to letting buyers know about properties under contract or recently sold, the MLS is the ultimate database that connects buyers and sellers.
I also share a real-life example of a client who initially chose not to list on the MLS, only to see the advantages of it firsthand. They soon changed their mind, and within days, their home went under contract!
