Capturing the apocalypse was our 2015 demo reel to test out our new T170 capture stage. Which has since been updated with a lot more cameras including a batch of 50 MP 5DSR's
We wanted to scan something a bit different so we got in touch with Dmitri Zaitsev from Nuclear Snail Studio. Dmitri's studio is widely regarded as the leading independent manufacturer of post-apocalyptic clothing and costumes.
Our aim with this was to capture and show only RAW scans, to see how far we could push the system without having to do any tiresome cleanup work. Everything shown in this video is 100% RAW decimated scans and texture output.
