When fishing with Panoptix in currents, the lure usually moves near the bottom and is often lost from view, especially during long casts. This is a feature of the Panoptix Livescope technology; objects near the bottom merge and become invisible. The 34 transducer performs better in this regard than the 32, but it's still not perfect.
