Build an Instagram Clone with Flutter: Navigation, Posts & Stories (Part 1)
Welcome to a new challenge series where I’m building an Instagram clone from scratch using 4 different cross-platform technologies:
Flutter
.NET MAUI
React Native
Apache Cordova
And here’s the catch: I intentionally chose technologies I barely know — or have never seriously used before.
This is not a “perfect senior developer tutorial.”
It’s a real-time learning journey where I’ll figure things out as I go, make mistakes, rewrite bad code, struggle with bugs, and slowly improve the app step by step.
In this episode, I’m building the app with Flutter and learning the ecosystem during development instead of pretending I already know everything.
The goal of this series is to compare:

and overall pain level
