It's very easy to embed a PDF file in wordpress and you can do this by installing a wordpress plugin called "Embed PDF".
This plugin will allow you to display the PDF file directly within the body of your wordpress post, you'll also have the option to zoom in and out on the PDF file, change page and even save the PDF directly to your Google Drive account.
This PDF viewer plugin works great, but please note that it hasn't been updated in over a year.
