Deploy Sophos UTM 9 Firewall Into VMWare VM
While looking for some home firewall online to compare with PFSense, I found quite a lots of post mentioned Sophos UTM 9. For home user, 50 IP addresses limitation is not a problem. I decided to put into my home lab to try. In the end, the decision has made to use it to replace PFSense which I have been used for quite a few months. Before that, i used Check Point and Fortigate as my home firewall.
This video is used to record the installation progress, also presented my final configuration for my home lab.
Installation process is painless. Configuration is straightforward . Logs and reports are rich comparing to others.
So far, I am still happy with this.
