How to sew curtain tape onto string curtains (quickly in 10 minutes)

A video on how to properly sew curtain tape onto thread curtains. Carefully remove the thread curtains from the packaging. Carefully unfold the threads with the glass beads slightly along the height and secure them with an elastic band. This will prevent the threads from tangling further.

The piping of the thread curtain should be straight. You can iron it flat before sewing on the curtain tape. I also recommend ironing the curtain tape before sewing on the tape. It's best to do this with steam to allow the cotton thread tape to shrink.

Place a 3 cm edge on the inner piping of the thread curtain. Stitch along the edge and trim off any excess threads. For a 7 cm wide curtain piping, choose a 5 cm high tape. Step 1 cm from the top edge of the curtain and sew the top stitch along the tape.

After sewing the tape, double-check that everything has been done correctly. Pull the curtain tape to the length of the curtain rod. Attach the curtain hooks to the tape and hang the curtain on the rod.
