Today there should be a section where I recommend some of our games to you, from our developers.
But a little more important topic, namely
Hype on Ukrainians in the game industry.
Hello everyone, Roman is with you, you are on the Borodulka channel.
After February 24, 2022, when Moscow launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine,
The game community of Ukraine, including game bloggers with a pro-Ukrainian position, they began to massively abandon the "ru" voice acting and interface in games,
and they also started writing to all developers so that they, in turn, start adding Ukrainian localization to their games,
At least in new games.
A very bad example is when Ukrainian subtitles were added to the Muscovite game, molecular fart,
But at the same time, the voice acting is Muscovite,
Convergence in action, so to speak,
But at some point, someone advertised a game like Marauders,
From the English studio team17,
Not to be confused with the game from the Russians.
So, at some point the game went viral among Ukrainian gamers,
After all, it was indicated that there would be a Ukrainian localization,
I don't have screenshots that would confirm this,
I haven't been following the game, but if you go to the game's steam community,
You can find an interesting topic where people ask to add Ukrainian localization to the game,
From the comments, you can understand that the developers at some point removed the information about the addition of the Ukrainian localization,
And this outraged many, because people have already bought the game, even though it is in early access, but it costs UAH 600 without discounts,
I would also be indignant, as I would give money to the developers, for a game in early access, where I would be promised Ukrainian localization,
But instead, they give us the Muscovite one,
More Rusopitekas get into this topic and defend, of course, the Muscovite one
Yes, you didn't hear, in the game there is not only English, but also Muscovite,
Despite the fact that Russians cannot buy games in Steam, directly,
Only through dancing with tambourines, through other countries and through intermediaries,
Then the question to the developers is what is the point of adding Muscovite to the game if you can't sell them the game,
Why promise Ukrainian localization, and then remove it from the list?
No one knows whether there will be a Ukrainian localization in the game, even the moderators of the official game server in Discord are unsure about it.
The only thing left for us is to keep telling the developers about it,
Writing in the gaming community in Steam, writing in Discord, is our right to self-identity,
No rude attacks, just ask or request that the developers add Ukrainian localization to the game,
After all, this game can replace Tarkov for Ukrainians,
For example, from the pros in the game:
there are many different weapons and tools that can be found during raids;
many crafts that you will use very often;
pvp in space and its research becomes more and more interesting with each update;
at the time of shooting the video, there are 20 spaceships;
there are customization elements for your marauder;
there is a system not only of merchants, but also the "OLH system" - you can exchange trash for a cool thing;
there is a voice chat that everyone can hear during the raid (some funny situations may arise);
the entrance threshold is several times more casual than in Tarkov;
there are main quests that are in the game menu, as well as raid quests - during a raid on one of the locations, you can complete them to get a reputation from some shopkeeper;
you can contact the developers, tell them something, offer your ideas for new updates, of course it is better to do this through the official discord;
But there are also disadvantages:
the price is UAH 600 for early access;
when there are no updates for a long time, up to 300 people can sit online;
sometimes there are bugs, a black screen and so on;
a very small Ukrainian community and the absence of the Ukrainian language.
