Though PractiCAM's Part Editor allows you to design any part you want on your own, you can also utilize the simple preset parametric parts library. This 2-D library basically comes with approximately 50 shapes which are parametric. So all you need to do is select the part you want to use and then type in the parameters you want. Each part will be adjusted in real time as you go, and will update in the main screen and in the preview window. This window is also capable of showing you the dimensioning. And of course, if you want, after you get the part set with parameters you desire you can also utilize the Part Editor tools to modify them even further. This makes building parts extremely fast to do.
