Are you trying to send your Facebook profile to a friend or employer but can't find the "Copy Link" button on your computer? In this video, I show you exactly how to copy your Facebook Profile link on a PC or Laptop in 2026.
The desktop version of Facebook is different from the Mobile App. There is no specific button to copy your link—you have to get it directly from the browser address bar. I also explain the difference between your "Profile ID" and a "Custom Username" so your link looks professional.
In this video, I cover:
The Difference: Why the "Copy Link" button is missing on the web version.
The Method: How to navigate to your profile correctly to get the right URL.
The "Clean" Link: How to remove the weird numbers (referral codes) from the end of your link before sharing.
Other Profiles: How to copy the link of a friend or a page using the same method.
Steps to Copy Link (PC):
Open Facebook.com in your browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.).
Click on your Profile Picture or Name (Top left or Top right) to go to your Profile Page.
Look at the Address Bar at the very top of the screen.
Highlight the text (e.g., facebook.com/yourname).
Right-click and select Copy (or press Ctrl + C / Cmd + C).
Paste it wherever you need!
