Alongside that monster set, LEGO is also releasing a $200 Pokémon set (2,500 pieces) and a more affordable $60 set (587 pieces). All three are set to launch in March 2026, and while the builds sound impressive, many fans are already questioning whether LEGO is missing the point with pricing.

Pokémon has always been about accessibility — from trading cards to toys to video games, the idea of “Gotta catch ’em all” has always felt achievable. But with LEGO Pokémon priced like this, many casual fans and kids may be completely priced out of the theme.

In this video, I break down all the LEGO Pokémon 2026 news, share my thoughts on what the $650 set could be, and discuss whether these sets are truly for fans — or just collectors with deep pockets.
