With the recent success of Riot Game's Hit Animated Series Arcane, as well as the announcement of Season 2, there has been a lot discussion surrounding the potential of Riot's unreleased MMORPG Project. Riot has been hard at work developing the League of Legends universe in effort to release several new projects including Project L, Valorant, & Teamfight Tactics. Meanwhile Blizzard is having a difficult time maintaining their active World of Warcraft playerbase.
With other MMO projects like Final Fantasy 14 and Lost Ark recently finding great success in their respective markets, I personally believe that Riot Games has an excellent chance to take the MMORPG market by storm. A project like this would garner attention from the entire League of Legends community. We could also expect to see other MMO players such as Limit Max and Asmongold take interest, thus adding even more promotional fuel to the fire. Can Riot Games create something that can go head-to-head with current successful MMO projects like Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker? Only time will tell!
