Final Cut Pro X transitions when you don't have enough media
Sometimes it is desirable to have a transition between two clips where there isn't enough footage for them to obverlap on the timeline. In Final Cut Pro X you can connect an adjustment layer, apply an effect to it and animate the effect parameters to create your transition.
