The name EV (Home) came to mind the moment the idea of creating a shared space was born. This word actually tells everything about this structure we've built. We envisioned it as a home where everyone who enters feels a sense of belonging. It's a home where we look in the same direction but honor our differences. We prefer simplicity over complexity. We believe that development is possible first through learning via the body. But as valuable as the somatic approach is to us, listening and the strength we derive from our togetherness are equally important.
After the name EV came to mind, we added Ahali (Community). A home without a community is not a home. Ahali is us. Playing, joy, and enthusiasm form the foundations of this home.
We don't teach anyone anything. We don't try to correct anyone. Because there's nothing to correct. Everyone is progressing perfectly on their own path and in their own time. Our door is open to awareness at every level.
We opened these doors to the most genuine moments, where we shared the deepest pains by crying, and where we wiped away tears of laughter.
Let's grow together.
Let's take good care of each other.
Welcome home.
