Planet X - The Black Assassins
From the Black Assassins Greatest Hits comes their celebration of interstellar space travel. The Black Assassins were a Brisbane, Australia punk band from the 80s that opened for the Dead Kennedys at Festival Hall. The song was written by members of the band while playing Space Invaders in the Kin Kin Hotel. Much more about them at http://www.blackassassins.net/. The clip was made by Stephen Stockwell from Super8 offcuts and other found footage processed through mid-80s video effects, edited onto U-matic, transferred to VHS and only recently transferred to digital. Paul Scott appears as the alien.
