I finally got a maxout in NES tetris!
I did it! 598k transition and some safe but successful play on level 19 until the killscreen. I used an original NES and controller and a CRT TV, and my piece movement was almost all with DAS (no rolling, there is one piece that I tapped but it was slower than DAS)
PB before today was 953880, which is still in the scoreboard during this recording.
Sorry it's basically silent during most of the video - I play without game sounds and wasn't talking much until the eventual pop off.
