Solution:
1. Don’t delete the .maintenance file located at the root folder of your WordPress Installation
2. Just keep refreshing your main URL i.e. yourwebsite.com in every two or three mins
3. Once your website is up, you may recheck the plugin for which you are running the update, it should be available in your plugin section and should function well
4. Take a backup for your database and home directory using the Backup option available at the cPanel
