After the initial reports about the fuel shortage in Mozambique, we weren't sure how much of this fascinating country we would actually get to experience. But it quickly became clear: The situation was far less problematic than expected and portrayed!
So, for us, it was time for adventure! Along Mozambique's stunning coastline, we experienced spectacular beaches and unforgettable moments. One highlight followed another, and it soon became clear that the decision to travel to this beautiful country was absolutely the right one.

We are a family of three overlanders from the Bernese Jura. In September 2024, we left our safe haven in Switzerland to embark on an African adventure. Our journey took us along the west coast with South Africa as our ultimate goal. Fourteen months later, we made it – we actually reached the southernmost point of the continent. There, our Land Cruiser was rebuilt and prepared to continue our great adventure. The next leg of our journey will take us through southern and eastern Africa.
