Welcome to Mathenatic! In this video, we're diving into the world of polygons, making it super easy to understand for all you high school students out there.

What Are Polygons?
Polygons are flat shapes with straight sides that are fully closed. Think triangles, squares, pentagons, and so on. Each of these shapes has a certain number of sides and angles.

Regular vs. Irregular Polygons
Regular Polygons: All sides and angles are the same. Imagine a perfect square or an equilateral triangle.

Irregular Polygons: Sides and angles can be different. Picture a random four-sided shape where not all sides are equal.

Angles Inside Polygons
To find the total of all interior angles in a polygon, use this formula:
(Number of Sides - 2) × 180°
For example, a hexagon (6 sides) would have:
(6 - 2) × 180° = 720°

This means all the inside angles add up to 720 degrees.
