Delphi Programming Tutorial - Lesson 9: Exploring Delphi Files

In this tutorial, we learn more about some of the files created by Delphi. We explore the files that are automatically generated and named by Delphi when the program is loaded in the IDE as well as files that Delphi generates after we run an application.

Programmers are only responsible for naming two files, namely the project file with a .dpr extension and the Pascal source file (unit file) with the .pas extension.

We also see why it is important to organize our files in a proper folder structure. You also learn how to make a distinction between a program that is in runtime and a program in design-time.

Best viewed in HD. To change your settings to HD:

1. Click on the gear-icon (Settings) at the bottom of the YouTube Video Player.

2. Select "720p HD" and wait a few moments for the setting to take effect.

Enjoy!
