Replacing the stock Comoplast with a Composite with an extended lug, DIY, all by yourself.

P.S. The gearbox housing is glued with hot glue, except for the bolts that are on it.
Heat it either with a hair dryer or, taking fire safety precautions, with a torch.
i.e., wipe off any oil or gasoline, and keep a fire extinguisher nearby.
I used a torch. It's faster. If you can't get the bolt loose (damn Torx), it's best to weld it and unscrew it rather than drill it out. We've done this procedure more than once.
