Similar Figures - Professor Angela
Hello Everyone!!
This video is about similar figures or similarity of figures. For two figures to be similar, some conditions must be met: the angular measurements must be correspondingly equal and the measurements of the corresponding sides must be proportional. Furthermore, there is similarity of figures when one of them can be obtained from an enlargement, reduction or reproduction of the other.
The triangle is, therefore, the only type of polygon for which similarity is defined only from one condition: correspondingly congruent angles.
