ExtendLM browser extensions has built-in PDF split and merge tool which allows you to easily split large PDFs per page or per chapter for easier ingesting into NotebookLM, allowing you to easily upload the resulting files or download them. Merging PDFs is also available if you have large number of small PDF files and you want to import them into NotebookLM without going over the notebook source limits.
