Hi! I invite you to join me in knitting a stylish, yet warm, beanie hat using hollow ribbing :)
Start of tutorial: 12:29
Knitting the hollow ribbing: 14:22
Crown closure: 22:32
For the blue hat, I cast on 174 stitches (BOG = 54 cm), for the pink one, 168 stitches (BOG = 52 cm).
I knit about 24 cm in height before closing the crown, but you can go higher, up to 30 cm.
When closing, I divided the crown into 4 parts (for example, 84/4 = 21 stitches in one gore).
Decreases at the crown are made on both sides of each marker, in every odd row. I knitted a total of 18 rows this way until the crown was tightened.
Thanks for watching! I wish you inspiration and creative joy :)
