Özgün Semerci - A Nightmare on Clawhammer Banjo
After releasing the critically acclaimed Soundtrack of the film Kelebekler in May, LU records continues its contribution to the music industry with a new record which will be released in July;
“A Nightmare on Clawhammer Banjo”, Ozgun Semerci’s second bluegrass/folk album will be available on all digital platforms on July 20th.
On his first album “Bulandi Sularim” Ozgun used banjo in his arrangements but in his seconds album we hear banjo as the core of the record as a whole and used with a non-familiar traditional style of playing which is called Clawhammer technique.
This album will be the first banjo record ever to be released in Turkey. Producers of the record are Kerem Brumend and Baran Gencer. Brilliant talents of Can Aydinoglu(Guitar). Ali Somay(Harmonica) Ahmet Kenan Bilgic(Vocals) and Given Guner(Spring Drum) is accompanied Ozgun Semerci in this musical journey.
