Introducing the Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 and S3 Gen 2 Sound Platforms

And this year, at Snapdragon Summit 2022, we’re thrilled to announce that two new sound platforms joined the Snapdragon Sound family: the Qualcomm S5 Gen 2 and Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 Sound Platforms.
These platforms are our most advanced and powerful sound platforms to date, built for the new age of Bluetooth audio. The S5 Gen 2 and S3 Gen 2 bring users new, premium, and immersive experiences across earbuds and headsets with Bluetooth LE Audio, spatial audio, and more. Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking gives listeners the most immersive listening experience possible, connecting them to the music in a deeper way than was previously possible over earbuds and headsets.
Both platforms also support Snapdragon Sound technology as well as Qualcomm Adaptive ANC mode. This feature adapts to the environment to block out wind and other noise pollution, leaving listeners with crisp, clear audio. The S5 Gen 2 and S3 Gen 2 also offer adaptive transparency mode, letting users hear their surroundings without impacting the quality of their listening experience.
