Valheim Console port in consideration
Henrik Törnqvist says Valheim console ports are “an option that is on the table”.
Valheim has sold amazingly well since its arrival on Steam, already racking up seven million copies sold.
It’s no surprise that developers Iron Gate would investigate expanding their potential market, as the game would likely sell just as well on console.
Henrik Törnqvist, co-founder of Iron Gate Studios, when speaking to GamesRadar, has said that the team behind Valheim are currently discussing the possibility of a Valheim console release.
Currently, if anyone wants to play Valheim, their only option is to play the PC version.
Valheim is currently in early access, and have their future updates planned out.
The current roadmap does not include any console ports, so it may be possible that a console port won’t see the light of day until the full game is completed.
