DIY Fangs Using Polymorph Thermoplastic
Make your own custom fit reusable fangs with polymorph thermoplastic! When made just right, fangs can often be quite secure without glue, yet also able to be taken on and off with ease!
This DIY is perfect for cosplayers, therian/ otherkin folk, furries, pups, & performance artists.

DIY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Line tin with foil then place on a plate to prevent spills
2. Add 3-6 beads, boil water, then carefully pour it over the beads
3. Once tin cools & beads have turned clear, pour out water & peel plastic off foil
4. Dry tooth & surrounding area, & keep dry to avoid plastic slipping around
5. Roll plastic into a ball & spread a thin even layer over entire tooth
6. Shape & smooth along gumline & edges using fingertips & back of fingernails like so
7. Make sure you get all the way to the gumline in both the front and back
8. Bite down carefully to shape to your bite
9. Swish cold water around mouth to harden quickly or wait
10. When hardened use fingernail to gently detach from tooth
11. Make sure the inside of tooth mold is dry, then heat another bead and squish it into the tip to fill any gaps and make it more secure on tooth
12. Dry tooth, put it on, pinch hard and bite down to get it really secure
13. Let it harden, & remove
14. When fully hardened, dry well, then heat a few more beads (Keep in mind, less is often more!)
15. Smooth down this top layer & fill any imperfections and mold tip to a point
16. Put fang on to make adjustments as needed
17. Take it off, let it harden, then trim excess
18. If it feels loose, heat it for a couple seconds with a hair dryer, gently squeeze it tighter, place in cold water, then try it on again
19. To fix minor spots, heat the tip of something like a butter knife with a hair dryer for a couple seconds, gently press onto surface, then smooth it out
20. Live your beastie life 🐾
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Clean with tooth brush & dry after each use
Store in tin for safe keeping
CHOKING HAZARD:
Do not wear while eating or drinking
Not intended for young children
To reduce risk, beads can be molded into a bridge instead of singular fangs
