The driving force behind the spot was utilizing The Who's classic "I Can See For Miles" single to establish the headlight's vast improvement of visibility. After Pete Townshend's approval, the ad debuted on national TV during the historic 2003 MLB play-off match up between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
