From Trash to Fully Functional: How I Built 10kWh of Solar Battery Storage
In a time of increasingly expensive energy, it has become increasingly important and crucial to store the energy we produce with our off-grid photovoltaic systems.
In this video, I'll show you how I recovered two batteries that were destined for destruction due to a simple failure. I then put these fantastic batteries back into use and further increased my independence.
Many had told me it wasn't possible to repair them, but the reality, as you'll see in this video, is quite different.
So enjoy this video and don't forget to comment with any questions you have.
The project is still being finalized, so you'll see some aesthetically pleasing details. Consider that everything started from scratch: until 12 months ago, I had no idea how to repair a battery and I didn't have the skills to do it. After much study, here is the result, definitive proof of the power of informed DIY.
