Zoom Mute Button 🤫 (+ Quick Unmute Shortcut)
If you need to mute yourself in Zoom, it's very easy.
You can hit the "Mute" button in the bottom left corner.
Or you can try the keyboard shortcuts:
Apple, it's Commmand + Shift + A (Hold down the keys at the same time)
On Windows it's Alt-A
“Can’t hear you! You’re on mute!”
“Unmute yourself!”
If you're on mute, you can unmute yourself just for while you're talking by holding down the space bar. Release the space bar and you're back on mute.
There's also a way to have yourself on mute every time you join a Zoom meeting, so you can decide when to unmute yourself.
