Nordic Walking Competition
On September 4, the physical culture and health project "Health of the Workers" was launched in the Bogorodsky District among 50 municipalities from 15 subjects of the Russian Federation. The project was created so that the working population of our country could become physically active and healthy with pleasure and ease. The motto of the project is "Corporate sports in every municipality"! And Nordic (or Nordic) walking is the best assistant to this!
How much drive there was today! From this physical culture spirit, even the weather parted and gave us sunshine for the duration of the competition! The teams of labor collectives of the Administration of the municipal district, Fire Department No. 27 and the combined team "Center of Power" demonstrated cohesion, Nordic walking skills, acquired during training from the instructor and member of the Nordic Walking Federation of the Kirov Region Olga Sitnikova. The Fire and Rescue Service team was recognized as the winner and participant of the regional competitions in Kirov, the 2nd place went to the "Center of Power" team and the honorable 3rd place went to the administration team. All participants were awarded special medals and diplomas, as well as gifts from the sponsors of the event Akopyan S.A. - director of the Bogorodsky dairy plant and IP Urvantseva E.N.
President of the Nordic Walking Federation of the Kirov Region Natalya Agafonova presented poles for Nordic walking for the best personal result in the competition to Maria Anisimova.
Head of the Bogorodsky municipal district A. Rastyagaev highly praised the project and wished health and physical activity to everyone involved in sports.
The Nordic Walking Festival was a success because it was made together by the participating teams and the organizers!
The Department of Social Affairs thanks the Bogorodsky PP for creating safety on the competition track, the Bogorodsky branch of the Regional Clinical Hospital for health protection, the Bogorodsky Central Culture and Leisure Centre for musical arrangement, the sponsors for gifts and the Kirov Region Nordic Walking Federation for holding the competition.
