How do you find the right image in 360° videos?
By spatially structuring the video through a visual SLAM algorithm and then
generating a web-based spatial / temporal representation
similar to google streetview. Our web application allows
not only the 360° view of the panoramas, but also the navigation
to other panoramas (in space) independent of the video. Furthermore
objects (e.g. people) are marked in the panoramas by means of an AI classifier. So you get a quick overview of the current situation.
