Another awesome Mario RPG song: Dark Star Core (aka In The Final) from Bowser's Inside Story!
Out of all the requests I get to my inbox, surprisingly I see this one the most.
I hadn't heard the song before until it was requested, and when I listened to it I loved it. The first couple drafts I worked on I didn't like, and I set the song on the back burner for a bit. Then recently, I messed with it again and found a groove and tempo that I liked, and churned out this remake.
I feel this is one of my best pieces of work. It takes a lot longer to do complex songs like this but the payoff is great.
