When four teenagers defy their parents and have a wild end-of-school beach vacation, they wind up trapped in a sinister dream-like time wrap.
Fumbling with the mysteries of love and sex on the edge of the ocean, the teens are at first only aware of their own pressing concerns. The two guys sense a sex-fest, but their bare-chested female companions will have none of it. There's something odd about this beach, and they want to go home. A surprise encounter with a creepy beachcomber named Zippo doesn't help.
But now they're trapped, thrashing like fish caught in a net as the terrifying mysteries of the world are revealed. Each of them must now choose forever the meaning of their lives.
