It's not often we show cases of patients with biopolymers in their faces. Many of them face fear, shame, and anxiety about being stigmatized when they reveal their identity. 😢
🙏But we're making progress every day. The more we raise awareness about this issue and treat it as a health problem, the more many find the courage not only to seek help but also to share their stories so others can learn or become more aware.
👉This time, I'd like to introduce you to our patient who will undergo surgery to remove biopolymers from her face.
👉In her particular case, we had to put her through a process of reducing swelling because otherwise, the postoperative consequences could have been terrible.
😪 Now that the swelling has subsided, we can have a safer surgery with a very positive outcome. 🤩
