My name is Shashi Ranjan. I’m a final year undergraduate student from IIT Kharagpur enrolled in its dual degree course (B-tech plus M-tech).
Recently Rakuten, Japan visited my college(IIT Kharagpur) to hire graduating students for the role of software engineer and Back-end engineer for their mobile network operation business in the first phase of Placements.The hiring process was a three stage process:
1. Coding Test Round
2. CV Screening Round
3. Interview Round(Technical + HR)
There were 19 students selected for the final interviews and of them, 5 were selected finally including me.I’m very glad to tell you that I have been selected as a software engineer for Rakuten’s MNO business situated in Japan.
